EXPECTATIONS

I take great lengths to ensure that my students have all the information and tools necessary to succeed in History CLASS.
Please adhere to the following
1-Advocate for yourself - Communicate in class, communicate with your peers and teacher. If you are having difficulty with a concept in history, I will find time to help you on a individual basis.
2-Be Proactive - Plan ahead, be responsible for your actions. Limit excuses, when you make them it limits your ability to learn and become accountable for your actions.
3-Homework - Do not leave the class if you do not understand the homework assignment. If you struggled with the homework, please write down the details of what you had difficulty with and we will review. It is unacceptable to claim you had trouble with everything.
4-Utilize this Web-Site - The information your need is posted every day. If you do not remember the homework, if you are absent, if you want to download an assignment... it's all there. If at any time you are having trouble with your HOME network, get a note from your parent/guardian.
5-Classroom Environment - The atmosphere in the classroom is light, fun, firm and fair. Laughter is always a key but not at the expense of other students. I will provide a safe environment for all my students that will be void of intimidation, distractions, disrespect and fear. When you enter class, come in ready to learn. Phones use is not allowed in class unless indicated. If a phone is visible in my classroom it will be confiscated for the day.

You can use FG’s to add points to assignments with lower grades. 1 FG=5pts, you can only use 2 for a total of 10 points.
